My Favourite Online Independent Shops

In today’s post I thought I share with you some of my favourite independent online shops. Shopping independent is so important to me because I love supporting such amazing creative people and I truly appreciate all of the hard work it must take to run an online shop, especially as it's something I would love to pursue in the future.

Whenever I'm in need of purchasing a gift for someone, whatever the occasion, I always turn to independent shops. I love coming across such cute and unique gifts that you often won't find in large retailers. I also think by browsing many independent shops you can find a gift for anyone’s style or
personality - whether that be crazy cat lazy or extreme coffee addict or simply just a love for all things stationary.

From my experience of shopping independent I have found that the products are always of such a high quality and you get a sense that the seller really values exactly what the customer is looking for. I can't quite put my finger on it but I just love the experience of purchasing for small indie brands.

My Top 5's ...

Sighh by Polly Vadasz

I have followed Polly on Instagram for years now, all the way back to her daily doodle days and the beginning of her shop. Polly started off on Instagram but now she has her own online shop here. Her shop is full of the cutest illustrations and amazing stationary, MacBook skins etc. Over the years I have purchased quite a few of her products and I have loved every single one. The quality is always amazing and I know she would never sell a product that wasn’t top notch. Polly herself has even become part of her brand, I actually look forward to her daily Instagram stories and her engagement with her customers/followers just makes shopping at Sighh feel a lot more personal.

Mhoho & Co

Mhoho & Co is an Etsy shop that offers the sweetest minimalist jewellery. They have a variety of rings, necklaces and bracelets and many of the pieces are customisable or can be engraved. The jewellery is available in silver, gold and rose gold. I have been lusting after a name necklace for a while now but I always struggle to find a font that I love, however, Mhoho & Co have the most beautiful fonts to choose from and I am struggling to pick my favourite. The shop states on their Etsy page that “No matter what occasion, personalised jewellery makes a fabulous gift for family and friends that will be cherished for a lifetime” – I couldn’t agree with this more and I absolutely adore every piece that they offer. You can check out their Etsy store here

The Bold Dino

Bold Dino is an amazing small business that I have recently discovered. The owner Anna created her business by combining her love of embroidery and her passion for sustainability together. She sells the cutest hand embroidered pieces of clothing. The T-shirts she embroiders are actually second-hand items and she completely upcycles them with amazing designs. So, as well as creating unique items she is also helping the planet – something I am also quite passionate about and more than happy to support! You can also submit your own designs or ideas to create your own custom piece. If you didn’t think this little business could get any better, 10% of all purchases are donated to Versus Arthritis. You can visit the shop here

Peony London

Again, Peony London is a brand that I have been aware of for a while now and I have my eye on so many of their products. They offer the dreamiest little jewellery dishes, prints and stationary bits. Each item is very minimalist yet still very useful. The personalised trinket dishes make an amazing gift for any jewellery lovers you know. They currently have 50% off of their A4 prints so if you are in the market for some new prints or updating your gallery wall I would definitely recommended you check out their Etsy shop here

Eleanor Bowmer

If you’re into colour and bold prints as much as I am then you to will also be obsessed with Eleanor’s work. In her shop you can find so many gorgeous products from prints, wallpaper, tea towels and so on. Each product is so colourful and eye catching and her leopard print designs are to die for!! Eleanor has recently released a number of different wallpaper design which look incredible in kids bedrooms, even though I don’t have a baby of my own I would actually consider buying some for my future child because I’m just not sure I could live without it – I would love to have the rainbow wallpaper in my bedroom but I’m not sure my boyfriend would approve. You can visit her shop here
